Speed work day. Ran a slow warm up mile and then did 8 quarters at about 1:22 and I ran a quarter between each at about an 8:30 mile recovery pace. My last quarter was faster but I'm not sure by how much.
My goal is to go sub-5. If I remember right, the pace I could hold for 4 quarters was typically pretty close to my all out mile pace. That means right now, I'm probably ready for about a sub-5:30 so I have a ways to go. It was a fun run. |
